1992 年，我院董事长梁尚立向全国政协副主席叶选平汇报办学进展。

　　Liang Shangli, Chairman of the Board, met with CPPCC vice chairman Mr. Ye Xuanping, reporting works of the college in 1992.

　　1993 年初，国家出台了《社会力量办学条例》，为民办高等教育的发展提供了新契机，梁尚立、何厚煌、何子栋、陈国强、林秀棠、陈湖昌、杨永德、潘政等培正校友及海外热心人士急国家之所急，在全国政协副主席叶选平的倡导下，创办了培正商学院。

　　办学十五年，学院在董事会的领导下，抓住机遇，加快发展，积极应对市场经济的需要，为国家大力培养经济类专业人才，办出了特色，办出了水平，在全国民办高校中卓有影响。

　　In 1993, The Regulations for Schools Run by Social Sector was published by the central government, encouraging multi-channels, multi-forms and multi-levels of higher education. It was at the suggestion of Mr. Ye Xuanping, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, that Liang Shangli, He Houhuang, He Zidong, Chen Guoqiang, Lin Xiutang, Chen Huchang, Yang Yongde, Pan Zheng and lots of other celebrities initiated Peizheng Commercial College .

　　During the past 15 years, the college has seized the opportunities to accelerate its development by meeting the needs of social development on its own initiative. It produced many needed personnel to the society. The college has become a fairly influential higher education institution with its own special features and municipal governments leadwes.

　　1994 年 12 月 4 日 ，我院举行奠基典礼，全国人大常委会副委员长王光英出席奠基仪式。

　　Dec. 4, 1994, Wang Guangying, Vice Chairman of the Standing member of the NPC, presented the foundation ceremony.

　　1996 年 1 月 29 日 ，我院举行建校论证会。专家组认为我院基本具备正式建校的条件，建议省政府批准我院正式建校办学。

　　Jan. 29, 1996, feasibility study meeting on the formal establishment of the college. It concluded that the college is qualified to be formally established.

　　1998 年 5 月 29 日 ，我院举行“教育部同意民办培正商学院备案暨建校五周年、婉兰体育馆奠基庆祝大会”，省市领导出席。

　　May 25, 1998, 5th anniversary of Peizheng Commercial College and the celebration for MOE’s agreement to the formal establishment of the college. Provincial and municipal leaders attended.

　　1997 年 8 月 11 日 ，全国高等学校设置评议委员会、国家教委计划建设司院校设置处、省高教厅等单位领导来院评估。

　　Aug. 11, 1997, leaders from National HEIs Appraisal Committee, State Planning Committee and Guangdong Education Bureau visited and assessed our college.

　　1997 年 12 月 13 日 ，学院举行四项工程落成剪彩暨世辉楼奠基典礼，梁灵光、程志清、许学强等省、市领导出席庆典。

　　Dec. 13, 1997, a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the fulfillment of 4 projects at our college. Liang Linguang, Cheng Zhiqing, Xu Xueqiang and other leaders presented.

　　1998 年 10 月，全国人大副委员长王兆国亲切会见我院董事长梁尚立，鼓励将我院办成民办名校。

　　Oct. 1998, Mr. Wang Zhaoguo, Vice Chairman of CPPCC, met with Mr. Ling Shangli encouraging to build Peizheng Commercial College into a famous one in China .

　　1999 年 11 月 17 日 ，全国人大副委员长成思危来我院视察，并为我院学生作风险投资方面的讲座。

　　Nov. 17, 1999, Vice Chairman of NPC, Cheng Siwei, visited our college and lectured.

　　1999 年 3 月 12 日 ，教育部部长陈至立在京接见我院董事长梁尚立，关心学院发展。

　　Ms. Chen Zhili, The Minister of Education,, met with Mr. Liang Shangli, inquiring the development of our college.

　2001 年 6 月 7 日 ，全国政协副主席罗豪才，全国政协委员、教育部副部长韦钰与我院董事长梁尚立合影。

　June 7, 2001, Mr. Liang Shang Li, together with Vice Chairman of CPPCC, Luo Haocai and Vice Minister of the MOE, Wei Yu.

　　2001 年 6 月 7 日 ，全国政协副主席韦罗豪才在全国政协港澳台侨委员会主任朱训，全国政协委员、教育部副部长钰的陪同下来院调研。

　　June 7, 2001, Luo Haocai, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, accompanied by Zhu Xun, head of Hongkong-Macao-Taiwan Overseas Chinese Committee of the CPPCC and WeiYu, Vice Minister of the MOE, visited our college.

　　2003 年 12 月 20 日 ，我院隆重举行建校十周年庆祝大会，众多领导、嘉宾和校友出席庆典。

　　Dec. 20, 2003, celebration for the 10th anniversary PZCC was grandly held. The leaders and celebrities and alumni presented.

　　1999 年 9 月 22 日 ，广东省人大主任卢钟鹤、省高教厅原厅长许学强等领导莅临我院视察。

　　Sep. 22, 1999, Lu Zhonghe, Chairman of NPC of Guangdong province, Xu Xueqiang, Head of the Education Bureau of Guangdong Province visited our college.

　　2005 年 2 月 22 日 ，教育部部长周济在京接见我院副董事长梁普建，祝贺学院成功升格本科院校。

　　Feb. 22, 2005, The Minister of Education, Mr. Zhou Ji, met with Vice Chairman Liang Pujian in Beijing , congratulating Guangdong Peizheng College upgraded to university level.

　　2004 年 4 月 27 日 ，广州市委副书记朱振中莅临我院视察。

　　Zhu Zhenzhong, Vice Party Secretary of Guangzhou , visited our college on Apr. 27, 2004.

　　1997 年 4 月 26 日 ，广州市常务副市长伍亮莅临我院视察。

　　The Executive Vice Mayor Wu Liang of Guangzhou visited the college on Apr. 26, 1997.

　　2004 年 5 月 26 日 ，省教育厅副厅长李小鲁和省就业中心主任朱国华等到我院调研。

　　1998 年，香港特首董建华会见梁尚立董事长。

　　Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive Tong Cheehua met with Mr. Liang Shangli in 1998.

　　2003 年 4 月 3 日 ，广东省教育厅厅长郑德涛等领导来院调研。

　　Zheng Detao, Director of the Education Bureau of GD Province, avisited our college on Apr. 3, 2003.

　　2004 年 12 月 23 日 ，国家教育部专家组在省教育厅副厅长张泰岭的陪同下对我院进行申本考察； 2005 年 1 月 27 日 ，全国高校设置委员会通过我院升格为本科院校的申请； 2005 年 3 月 9 日 ，教育部正式同意我院升格为本科院校。

　　Accompanied by Mr. Zhang, Vice Director of GD Education Bureau, expert panel from MOE inspected our college for upgrading on Dec. 23, 2004. And on Jan. 27 2005, our college was approved to be a degree-granting college, Mar. 11, 2005, the MOE issued an official document approving the establishment of Guangdong Peizheng College .
